Barbosa do Brasil is an organization recognized by the National Association of Dutch World Stores and the International Federation of Alternative Trade (IFAT) as an importer of Fair Trade products from Brazil.

Barbosa do Brasil imports various products made by over 35 small scale manufacturing groups in Brazil, paying a fair price to the workers producing the goods. Barbosa do Brasil buys products according to the principles of fair trade. Absolutely no child labour was used to produce the articles, and the manufacturing process if prefinanced. In addition, a good market price is paid for the products.
By importing goods from Brazil, Barbosa do Brasil supports local employment. The profit being made is spent on eduction and employment projects in Brazil. The products are also supported with project development and management. Along with other importers, Barbosa do Brasil has united in Centrum Mondiaal, and is a registered member of the IFAT.
